The "Chief's Signature" pendant represents Mohegan Chief Harold Tantaquidgeon's signature. Chief Tantaquidgeon was my Great Uncle, and Mohegan Chief from 1952 - 1970. Harold, along with his father and sister Gladys, built the Tantaquidgeon Museum in the early 1930's. Which is oldest Indian Museum in the country. The X with the 4 dots represents 4 prevoius Moheagan Sachems. Including Uncas, the first Mohegan Sachem from 1635 - 1683.
